Colossians 2:6-7, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Stay rooted in Christ. When your roots are deep and strong, no matter what comes your way, you will be strengthened and overflowing with thankfulness. We are called to be set apart and allow our light to shine bright with in us, so other can see Jesus in us. When the whole world is falling apart, we need to be overflowing with thankfulness and standing on the Holy Word of God. My God will never leave me nor forsake me, My God is for me and not against me, NO weapon formed against me will prosper in the mighty name of Jesus, the gates of hell SHALL not prevail in Jesus name.

We as believers of Jesus Christ, should confess these things over our lives daily. What you are confessing is the word of God. The word is powerful, and it will never return void. Reading the Word of God and applying the Word of God to your life will keep you rooted and built up in HIM. That is the only way.

Verse of the day

Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

In all things, give thanks. The Lord tells us not to be anxious about anything but instead give it to Him and thank Him for He is working all things out for your good and HIS glory. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you.” When we lay ALL things at His feet, that is when the peace of God comes. When you apply the word to your life and do what it says to do, your life will be prosperous, joyful, peaceful and successful. God is for you and not against you. He gives us His word to use it because His word is true, and it will never return void. His word is powerful and there is Power in the Name of Jesus.

Psalms 107:1 “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”

God is so good. In all things and all situations give thanks to Him. He is the creator of all things. He is for you and not against you and He loves you with an everlasting love. There is nothing in this world that could separate the love that He has for you. So, give thanks to Him…for HE IS GOOD!!!

Verse of the Day

James 1:2-8 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double minded and unstable in all they do.”

Count it all as joy. Life is going to throw curveballs at you and life is going to happen. No matter what trials you face, remember God is with you through those trials. He is bigger than all your troubles.

No where in the Bible does it say that walking with Him was going to be easy…all He says is I am with you, I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will give you rest, I am the Prince of Peace, I am your strength, I AM the great I AM. Praise Him through trials and tribulations…because He will not fail. Walk in victory because the battle has already been won…You are more than a conqueror.

John 14:15-17 says, “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.”
