John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ” I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Verse of the Day
Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Verse Of the Day
Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Have a blessed and wonderful day!
Verse of the Day
John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
You have an enemy that is out to steal everything you have and destroy everything you love. That is his plan for you. His plan is to take ahold of you and take you to hell with him. So many of us make it easy for him. You have to come to a point in our life that you are tired of him stealing your joy, your love, your peace, your marriage, your family etc. It’s time to stand firm on the Word of God-because the Word is power-and the enemy has to flee when you speak the word. Even Jesus had to speak the Word of God for the devil to run. The Word is your sword and your bread of Life.
The bible says in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” God’s people are being destroyed daily because they have no knowledge of how powerful the Word is, they have no knowledge of who Jesus is and they no knowledge of having the authority to overcome all the powers of darkness. It is our job as Christians to tell people about Jesus and encourage them to get in the Word so they gain knowledge and can start applying it to their everyday lives and situations.
In the second part of John 10:10 it says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” He is talking about us (His people). Jesus came and lived a sinless life and died on the cross for all our sins-so we could live. The same Jesus that rose from the dead lives inside of you. Amazing, huh? That is how we have the authority to command the devil to go and we don’t have to be destroyed. It is so important to know who you are in Christ. It is time to put the devil in his place and live a life of victory. You are victorious through Christ.
Have a wonderful Day! God Bless You!
Verse of the Day
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
The peace of God. The world cannot give you true peace-only Jesus can. His peace is comfort and rest. We live in a fallen world that is chaotic and busy. While in this world you can still have peace. You can have peace through the storms of life and through the hard times that you are dealt. When you allow God to take all of your cares, carry all of your burdens that heavily try to weigh you down and all of your worries-you will have true peace knowing that God is for you and not against you. He will carry all of these for you, so you don’t have to. We all have a life to live, and we all have storms we face, but He says to praise Him in the storms and to cast all your cares on Him. You will have peace in the middle of the chaos and people will not understand why you are able to be ok with whatever is going on around you. They will want what you have, and they will ask you how you do it. You will be able to tell them that Jesus is the Prince of Peace and He takes care of all of your needs.
I pray this encourages you today. Lay everything down at His feet and let Him have it all. You will have peace that passes all understanding. It is worth it!
God Bless you! Have a wonderful day!
Verse of the Day
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
God loves to bless His children. He has blessings stored up for all of us just waiting to release them to us. He knows your desires, your wants and your needs. He is the provider of them all. When you commit yourself to the Lord; which means obey Him, apply His word to your life, surrender to Him and live for Him, He will give you the desires of your heart. A goal to is for your desires to start lining up with what God’s desires are. As you walk on this Journey with Jesus your desires will start slowly changing. There is a process that takes place and it is called the sanctification process. What that means is-God starts removing the things that need to be removed in your life and starts adding the things that make you more like Jesus. Suddenly you will start seeing your desires start to change. Now you will start desiring the things of God. It is a beautiful process. It is not always easy sometimes-but God never said that is would be easy-just that it would just be worth it.
Romans 12:2 says “Do not conform to the ways of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. Reading the word of God and meditating on the word of God is what renews your mind. The word is what transforms your mind into desiring the things of God and getting rid of your worldly desires.
I pray this encourages you today to get in your word. Pray for God to start changing our desires to what His desires for you are. His desires are so much better than our desires anyways. Let Him build your life-He has the best life for you.
God bless you! Have a wonderful Day.
Verse Of the Day
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
God promises to never leave us nor forsake us. He will never leave you to do something on your own, because He is always with you. If you are just beginning your walk with Jesus or if you have been walking with Him for a while this verse applies to you. He has gone before us in all things, which means He has prepared the way for you. So don’t fear; have faith in God and in His word. Fear will try and stop you from going any further than you are now. You have to apply this verse to your everyday walk. everyday task and everyday decisions. Trust that He is for you and not against you.
I pray this encourages these of you who are afraid to take the next step or if you have a big decision to make in your life-KNOW that God is with you, holding your have and protecting you! Let God lead and everything will be just fine! Our God will never fail!
