Makenna Brown

From a young age, I battled insecurity which led me to seek attention in all the wrong places. I always felt different, and the enemy used that against me. Desperate for something real, I searched for meaning in ungodly ways – quickly losing hope. Looking back now, I see that God’s hand was upon me even when I was utterly oblivious. Living in a world full of perversion and hate, I found myself trapped in situations that I’d never imagined I would be in. Full of shame and brokenness, I cried out to the Lord. Not only did He forgive me of my sins, but He has become my best friend, my sustainer, and Who I live to love. I now lead worship at Cartersville Outreach Ministry, which includes going into Bartow County Jail to minister to the men and women incarcerated there. I travel with the ministry internationally, I am the overnight staff at the Women’s Center, and I am a nanny for a beautiful family of believers that have 6 amazing children. He is working in my family and is faithful in every area of my life. I now owe Him the rest of it, because He is worthy.

Thank you for the opportunity to boast in His glory with you.
